Does my company need a Clinical Research Team?

The current regulatory climate is evolving. Supplements and natural products form a multibillion dollar industry that, due to its ever-expanding volume, is under greater and greater scrutiny. 

In 2010, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued a statement requiring all natrual health product claims be substantiated by at least 2 double-blind clinical trials. 

Substantiation of marketing claims not only protects the product manufacturer from litigation, it also provides a degree of validity of these claims that can help the company stand out beyond competitors. In the natural product industry, being able to say your claims are backed by solid science goes a long way!
